You have an excellent protocol. I would add fluoride can displace iodide/iodine and T4 can be 4 atoms of fluoride and the blood test can't distinguish the difference. Additionally fluoride will destroy the thyroid over time. The thyroid uptake is mainly potassium iodide but the body also requires and stores iodine in the breasts, pancreas, ovaries and prostate. Giving synthroid or desecrated thyroid hormone does not give any iodine. Iodine is also for the immune system. (Ref: Dr David Brownstein and Dr Jerry Tennant book Healing is Voltage, The Handbook).
Fluroide is a big issue - and it's mostly overlooked thyroid disruptors, and it's always missed.The Brownstein reference as his iodine has helped countless patients, especially with the loading test to asses true iodine sufficiency across all tissues not just the thyroid.
I used Dr Brownstein book and Dr Jerry Tennant book Healing is Voltage, The Handbook to get my Lugols iodine level to 50mg per day. It is very sad for women since insufficiency is more predominant. Every women I know has either problems with their thyroid and/or breasts. This is across all age groups with goiter, cysts/polyps, hair falling out, not sweating, thyroid polyps, masses in breasts, weight gain/loss, etc. I give them the book by Lynne Farrow The Iodine Crisis, but I don’t think any have read it.
Nigella Seed Oil reduces antibodies considerably. The funny thing about all the inflammation foods is they all contain glutamate. I wonder if agmatine supplementation could help offset that.

Sweet potatoes, carrots, beets, turnips, parsnips, spaghetti squash, arugula , avocado, green apples, berries, nori, dulse, kimchi, fermented beets (much better than fresh), sawuerkraut, keep it 50g daily in total carbs for a good thyroid health, and once a week a carb-load would be ideal. keep it in the evening to support sleep and cortisol regulation… usually for my patients I do carb-load with white rice…
150 is ideal. Specially if you have trained your body to utilize effectively. USually I keep it max 100g for many patients for the begining phase and depends on their activity levels. But since you are high output, your body will utilize it effectively.

Lots of amazing information out there to heal lots of issues. But sometimes lots of individuals fall short relying on doctors.

It's powerful for autoimmune thyroid conditions 100%. Agmatine does help block NMDA receptors and reduces glutamate excitotoxicity.

Ii can't eat sweet potatoes but do love fruit. I have a high output so I have carbs no more around 150g at the moment

I have two questions: in regards to sugar elimination, does this include natural sugars such as maple syrup and honey?
Second, do you continue the diet protocol or is this only for the first 30 days? Would it be ideal to maintain this way of eating permanently?
