How does Berkeley compare to humann products, like neo40?

The problem with Neo40, they are using the cheap form of Sodium Nitrate and L-Citrulline. With Citrulline once you are over the age of 40 it does not convert correctly to proper nitric oxide, and for the Beet Root, they are not using the correct extraction form, as it should be minimal 20:1 . We do require 500mg of nitrate to activate the switch from Nitrate-Nitrite-Nitric Oxide Pathway... In addition Anything chewable will only activate 25%, the other 75% works in the gut.. which they don't have any given ingredients to be active... Also it defeats the purpose when you have other ingredients added: mannitol, cellulose, xylitol, NATURAL FLAVORS (hidden for MSG).. etc... The Berkeley I mentioned, and I've been taking for close to 11 years, is active almost all day in your body...better protection.. There are 5 companies out there competing with NO. But only 2 are patent

TY Maurice. I have been using neo40 for several years. I will try Berkeley, and will use test strips to find my levels of NO with neo40 before I start the Berkeley. I appreciate you, thanks.

Keep me updated, I know when I spoke with company few years back, wanting to find out the Certificate of Analysis to find out the extraction if it's correct and they would not share it. And that is the only reason I question things, specially when they mention Natural Flavors.. But let me know how the strips do, throughout the day...

Thank you, Maurice. I know that G. Edward Griffin, now in his 90s, swears by nitric oxide.

11 years for me, and still going strong on it, twice a day. I don't think I will ever stop for life..

It’s the same product that you have promoted, purchased from Healf in UK. I’m really pleased about the potential of using Nitrate. Your a star, Maurice!

Hi Maurice,

thank you very much for your advice—I also bought your book, and I’m truly grateful. Unfortunately, I have a problem: I live in Switzerland and I cannot get these products from NO. In your book, you also recommend BPC-157; do you know how I could obtain it in Switzerland?

For Peptides, I do not know. Because every country has their own well established companies, that we need to deal with, and not get it from outside the country due to stability. As for Nitric Oxide, I can always talk to the company to find out what we can do for shipping directly to you. But most probably you will have to order for at least 6 month supply for it to make sense...

What's your take on beet root?

Maurice Daher, CNS's avatar

You would need 300g of beets to give out 500mg of nitrate. The problem with beets, is the sugar, oxalates that conflicts. Would be ideal to get it as extracted 20:1 ratio, which you will never find. Also if you purchase beet powder, if it does not state the extraction, that means you still require 300g to produce 500mg of nitrate. We do require a minimum of 500mg to activate to Nitric Oxide

Thanks. I wondered about the high sugar content of beets. After all, they're where we get beet sugar!
